iMBrace Named as Technology Partner in the GenAI Sandbox Second Cohort

iMBrace is proud to be selected as one of the technology partners in the HKMA x Cyberport GenAI Sandbox Second Cohort, a key milestone that highlights our commitment to advancing Enterprise AI in Hong Kong’s financial services sector.

This initiative, announced on 15 October 2025, marks a major step toward responsible AI adoption, moving from experimentation to production-grade AI solutions. iMBrace was also honoured to participate in the GenAI Symposium, where leaders from both the first and second cohorts gathered to discuss the future of AI governance.

During the event, first-cohort banks shared practical insights and real-world applications from their governance implementations, providing valuable perspectives that further reinforce iMBrace’s mission to deliver trusted, governed, and enterprise-ready AI systems.

Keith Chow, VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships at iMBrace, representing the company in the GenAI Sandbox Second Cohort.

The GenAI Sandbox is a transformative platform created by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Cyberport, designed to enable banks and technology partners to co-develop AI solutions that are responsible, secure, and industry-ready.

As one of the 14 technology partners chosen to participate in the GenAI Sandbox Second Cohort, iMBrace plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI governance in Hong Kong’s financial services sector. This selection underscores our responsibility to contribute to the development of trusted, compliant, and scalable AI systems for the government and financial services industries.

The second cohort brings together 20 banks and 14 technology partners, selected from over 60 proposals based on their innovation, technical complexity, and impact on the financial industry. A key theme of this cohort is AI governance, featuring “AI vs. AI” strategies that validate and enhance AI-generated outcomes through automated quality checks and adversarial simulations to strengthen defenses against deepfake-related fraud.
